My name is Sarah, and I am a Social Work intern at Brighter Side Counseling. I am currently pursuing my MSW at Walden University and hold an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice and a bachelor’s degree in Human Services, which have helped shape my understanding of both the systems people navigate and the challenges they may face.

I feel truly drawn to this field and am passionate about working with individuals who have fallen on hard times, whether that involves mental health concerns, trauma, or difficult life transitions. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely heard, especially during times when life can feel overwhelming.

As I continue to grow in this role, I am focused on building strong, trusting relationships with clients, strengthening my clinical skills, and helping individuals develop healthy coping strategies. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and to be part of each client’s journey toward healing, growth, and positive change.
